Day 1
Day 1: Arrive Alwar [Tijara]

Arrival at Alwar & transfer to pre booked hotel. After fresh up then visit Shri 1008 Chandra Prabhu Digambar Jain Atishaya Kshetra Dehra Tijara is located Tijara, District Alwar (Rajasthan). The idol of Bhagwan Chandra Prabhu is very beautiful and attractive in Padmasana Posture made of white stone that was discovered on August 16, 1956 after digging.

Another temple of Tijara City is an ancient beautiful temple with attractive pinnacles. This was constructed in V.S. 1895. The principal deity of this temple is Bhagwan Parshvanath (23rd Teerthankar). Later in the evening return to hotel/ Dharamshala and overnight stay in Alwar.

Day 2
Day 2: Alwar - Jaipur (160km/ 3.5 hrs)

Today after breakfast visit Tijara Fort & then drive to the Beautiful Pink City- Jaipur. Upon arrival check- In to pre booked hotel. Fresh up & then visit Amer fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace. Overnight stay in Jaipur

Day 3
Day 3: Jaipur [Choolgiri Jain Temple, Jain temple Sanganer]

Early morning after breakfast visit Chulgiri Jain Temple & Shri Digamber Jain temple of Sanganer. The ancient Shri Digamber Jain temple of Sanganer has fine carvings that are comparable to the Dilwara temples of Mount Abu that are built in many phases. Shri Digamber Jain temple Sanghiji is a jewel of town. In this temple the Principal Deity the Lord Adinath (Rishabh Dev), the first tirthankar are supposed to be 4000 years old. Day 4: Jaipur- Sawai Madhopur (180km / 4 hrs)

Early morning drive to Sawai Madhopur. Upon arrival check -In to pre booked hotel. After freshen up visit Mahavirji Jain Temple & The Shri Digambar Jain Atishaya Kshetra Chamatkarji. Overnight stay in Sawai Madhopur

Day 5
Day 5: Sawai Madhopur - Udaipur (400km / 8 hrs)

Today after breakfast drive to Udaipur. After long journey reach Udaipur and check in to hotel. Overnight stay in Udaipur

Day 6
Day 6: Udaipur [Rikhabdev Jain Temple]

Today after breakfast visit Rikhabdev Jain temple. Rishabhadeoji is situated 65 km from Udaipur and is on Udaipur-Ahmedabad Road. The name of the town is Dhulev, however it is better known as Rishabhadeo. It is a well known pilgrim site. The main attraction is the temple of Rishabhadeoji , the first Jain tirthankara. Later visit Fateh Prakash Palace, Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake, City palace museum. Overnight stay in Udaipur

Day 7
Day 7: Udaipur-Banswara [140 kms]

This morning drive to Banswara. Reach & check - In at your hotel. Fresh up & then visit Arthuna temples. Arthuna as well as its surrounding areas have clusters of ruined Hindu and Jain temples belonging to the 11th, 12th and the 15th centuries. Among the dilapidated ruins is a beautifully carved conjugated statue of Shiva, Parvati and Ganesh. Lankiya village around Arthuna has Shaivite temples called Nilkanth Mahadev Temples. This old Digamber Jain Nasiyaji Atishaya Kshetra exist on a beautiful Hill which is located 1 km ahead in south of 'Amaravati' (now named as Arthuna).

Day 8
Day 8: Banswara [Arthuna Stone Temples, 55kms from Banswara]-Udaipur

Morning visit Andeshwar Jain Temple of Banswar. This place is situated on a hillock in Kushalgarh tehsil of Banswara district. This is very famous Jain temple housing rare Shilalekhs of the 10th century. We can find two Digamabara Jain Parshwanatha temples at this place. The main temple was built by Digamabar Jain Panchayat of Kushalgarh. The main idol of Bhagawan Parshwanatha is being protected by seven hoods.

After sightseeing drive back to Udaipur. Reach & check- In at your hotel for overnight rest.

Day 9: Udaipur-Mount Abu [Dilwara Jain Temples] (170km/ 4 hrs)

Today after breakfast drive to Mount Abu. Reach & check -In at your hotel. Fresh up & then proceed to visit Dilwara Jain Temples.

Day 10: Mount Abu-Ranakpur [Ranakpur Jain Temple] (160km / 4-5 hrs)

Today drive to Ranakpur. Reach & check -In at your hotel. Fresh up & then proceed to visit Ranakpur Jain Temples. The renowned Jain temple at Ranakpur is dedicated to Adinatha. The temple is designed as Chaumukha-with four faces. The construction of the temple and quadrupled image symbolize the Tirthankara's conquest of the four cardinal directions and hence the cosmos.

Day 11
Day 11: Ranakpur-Jodhpur (170 km / 4 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Jodhpur. Reach & check- In at your hotel. Fresh up & then visit the Mehrangarh Fort, rising up a hilly scarp, built on the advice of a hermit, overlooking the city in the image of a long sentinel. Inside the Fort are a number of palaces added by successive rulers. In this palace you would see different miniature paintings & cradle room. After this you would visit Jaswant Thada Memoria. Visit the museum of UMAID BHAWAN PALACE.

Day 12
Day 12: Jodhpur-Osian temples -Jodhpur

After breakfast visit Osian temples - Osian is famous as home to the cluster of ruined Brahmanical and Jain temples dating from the 8th to 11th centuries. Of the 18 shrines in the group, the Surya or Sun Temple and the later Kali temple, Sachiya Mata Temple and the main Jain temple dedicated to Lord Mahavira stands out in their grace and architecture.Later drive back to Jodhpur for overnight rest in the hotel.

Day 13
Day 13: Jodhpur- Nakodaji

Full day excursion to Nakoda ji. [A complex of three Jain temples - Parsvanath temple, Adinath temple and Shantinath temple] -Jodhpur

Later drive back to Jodhpur for overnight rest in the hotel.

Day 14: Jodhpur airport/railway station

Morning after breakfast transfer to Jodhpur airport/railway station to board flight/train for your onward journey.

How to reach Alwar

By Air: Alwar doesn’t have its own airport, and foreign travellers have two options to consider. You can either fly to Jaipur International Airport or Indira Gandhi International Airport. The former is a 163kms away while the latter is 142 kms away, by car.

 

By Train: The Fairy Queen is a 162-year-old 60-seater AC car chair that is a brilliant train experience from Delhi to Alwar. If you can’t make it onto this historic ride, there are a number of train travelling to and from Alwar Junction. The Chetak Express from Delhi is the fastest train that takes less than 6-and-a-half hours to reach Alwar. Since Alwar Junction exists on the Delhi-Jaipur railway line, the station is well connected with Jodhpur, Delhi, and a host of other non-Rajasthani cities.

 

By Road: The main reason to take a bus to Alwar is because of the local experiences on the way. One can stop at a roadside dhaba or tea-stall and try the sumptuous local cuisine. If you’re looking for a Rajasthan experience far away from the usual itineraries, a bus to Alwar is a must.
