Goa & Himachal Pradesh are Now Open For Tourism

Goa and Himachal Pradesh are one of the largest tourist hub in India and Government of Goa and Himachal Pradesh has officially opened its border for domestic tourist and if you are planning a trip to Goa and Himachal, then here’s all you need to know before you get there.

Here are the requirements to visit Goa

  1. Only domestic tourists who have pre-booked their accommodations will be allowed to enter the state.
    2. Tourists will either have to carry a COVID-19 negative certificate or get tested at the state borders before gaining entry.
    3. Tourists who test positive will have the option of returning to their states or availing treatment in Goa.

Guidelines to visit Goa by Air

Health Screening

  1. Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers
  2. COVID test shall be done for all symptomatic passengers.

Quarantine:

  1. Passengers shall be exempted from Home Quarantine in below cases:
  2. Passenger is able to produce a COVID-19 negative certificate issued by ICMR recognized lab, not older than 48hours prior to the arrival in GOA
  3. Passenger opts for swab test upon arrivals at a cost of Rs. 2000 and agrees to remain in paid Institutional Quarantine till the time test result is available

 

Passenger Obligation:

All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App

Asymptomatic Passenger to choose one of the following option:

1) Produce a COVID-19 negative certificate issued by ICMR recognized lab not more than 48hours prior to the arrival in GOA.

2) Mandatory 14days home quarantine. If a person does not have a proper arrangement at his/her place of residence, he/she can opt for a paid institutional quarantine of 14days.

3) Opt for giving swab and getting tested, at the cost of Rs. 2000 and be in paid institutional quarantine till the test results come.

Here are the requirements to visit Himachal Pradesh

  1. A test report showing negative for COVID 19
    2. Prior hotel booking of at least five days.
    3. Will have to stay for at least five days and more.
    4. The COVID test has to be done by an ICMR-accredited laboratory not earlier than 72 hours.
    5. If the conditions are fulfilled, then there will be exemptions from quarantine requirement.

Guidelines to visit Himachal by Air

Health Screening

  1. COVID Test is not required
  2. Thermal screening will be done for all passengers upon arrival

Quarantine:

  1. A test report showing negative for COVID 19
    2. Prior hotel booking of at least five days.
    3. Will have to stay for at least five days and more.
    4. The COVID test has to be done by an ICMR-accredited laboratory not earlier than 72 hours.
    5. If the conditions are fulfilled, then there will be exemptions from quarantine requirement.

Passenger Obligation

  1. All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App.
  2. Entry/Exit from State borders will be allowed only from 6 A.M. – 8 P.M.
